When to Stop Dieting
So you have been on a diet for quite some time? If so, there is one very important thing that is probably on your mind; when can you stop dieting? Many people go on a diet just to lose a few pounds, and as soon as they reach their goals they go back to their normal lifestyle. The question of when you should stop your diet is up to you. If you rely on what somebody else tells you, you may get off track and lose a lot of work that you had put in.

Know your Dieting Goals
The best way to know when you should stop dieting is to know what your goals are. For instance, if your goal is to lose five pounds so that you look better on your honeymoon you should keep this in mind. This way when everything is said and done you can simply go back to your normal eating habits. But on the other side of things, if your goal is to lose weight and then keep it off you may never want to give up on your diet. Sure, you can scale things back a bit, but if you stop dieting completely you may end up gaining back all of the weight that you lost. |

If you are on a diet and you begin to feel poorly you should quit immediately. The fact of the matter is that dieting is not right for everyone. If you begin a diet that does not suit your needs you may end up running into problems with the amount of vitamins, minerals, and other key substances that you are consuming. Remember, you should listen to your body if you are on a diet. The second that you begin to feel poorly you should back off of your current eating habits. You may even want to see a doctor just to make sure that nothing serious is going on.
As you can see you will have to make your own decision as to when you should stop dieting. You may want to watch what you eat for the rest of your life, or maybe you only have short term goals. The bottom line is that every person is looking for their own unique results from their diet.
